2018 Judging Panel
The 2018 Judging Panel includes senior representatives of the partners' organisations, past winners and experts in their field.
David Allen, Chief Executive, Wates Group David was appointed Chief Executive in April 2018 having joined Wates as Chief Financial Officer in January 2016. Before arriving at Wates, David was Crossrail’s Finance Director and one of the three executive members of the £15bn project’s board. He had joined Crossrail in March 2009 from Laing O'Rourke, where he was Finance Director for its European construction business.
Richard Carter, Head of Finance and Sustainability, Adnams Richard is head of finance and sustainability at Adnams plc, an award-winning brewery and distillery based in Southwold and famous for its eco-distribution centre, its energy efficient brewhouse and its 240,000 honey bees. Adnams describe themselves as a values-led, purpose-driven business.
Rodney Irwin, Managing Director of Redefining Value and Education, WBCSD Dr Irwin is responsible for a portfolio of projects designed to advance the measurement and valuation of externalities to take sustainable development into the mainstream reporting of an organization. He is the link between WBCSD members and standard/regulation setters and his team are working on projects in risk management, assurance and reporting.
Mardi McBrien, Managing Director, Climate Disclosure Standards Board Mardi McBrien has been the Managing Director of the Climate Disclosure Standards Board (CDSB) since 2011, following an eclectic career leading environmental change in senior campaigning roles, public-private partnership management, and public policy.
