What are the Finance for the Future Awards?

The Finance for the Future Awards recognise finance functions driving sustainable economies. We are looking for examples of good practice that could be transformational in building a sustainable organisation.

Who can enter the Awards?

The awards are free to enter and open to all individuals and organisations globally, including businesses, charities, social enterprises and those in the public sector.

How do I enter?

Entries for 2019 Finance for the Future Awards will be open from 26 March 2019 until Friday the 17 May 2019 and you can enter by downloading and completing an entry form. Please note there is a word limit for each of the entry questions and the application needs to be written in English.

How many awards are presented? What are the categories?

Six awards will be presented and the categories are: Embedding an integrated approach, Innovative project, Communicating integrated thinking, Investing and financing, Building financial sustainable products, Driving change through education, training and academia. This year there is the potential for an additional Finance for the Future Award to be presented, recognising Climate Leadership.

What is the deadline for entering?

Entries for the 2019 Finance for the Future Awards close on Friday 17 May. This year’s finalists will be announced in August.

Is there a fee to enter?

No, it is completely free to enter.

How are the awards judged?

The details of the assessment and judging process can be found here.

What happens if I am shortlisted as a finalist?

After the assessment, if your organisation is shortlisted in one of the categories, you will be invited to give a formal presentation to the judging panel on in London on Friday 6 September 2019. International finalists unable to travel to London will be invited to present via video conference call.

When will the winners be announced?

All winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Thursday 10 October 2019.

When and where will the awards ceremony be held?

The awards ceremony will take place in London on 10 October 2019 at Gibson Hall. Please note that it is an invitation-only event.
