Assessment process - Innovative idea category

Please note that the assessment for the Innovative idea category is different from the assessment for the other awards categories.

Each entry in the Innovative idea category will be assessed through a three-staged process:

Stage 1: Due diligence

Once we’ve received your completed entry form, it will go through a due diligence process, where we will check that the information meets the award criteria. If your application does not demonstrate that you have met the award criteria, you may be eliminated from further stages in the assessment and judging processes.

The entry deadline for this category is Friday 1st September 2017.

Stage 2: Assessment process

Once your application has successfully gone through the due diligence process, two members of the awards assessment team will conduct assessments via video or audio-conference calls. Assessments will be approximately one hour in length and will be an opportunity for the assessors to gain a deeper understanding of your initiative.

All assessments have to take place the week commencing 11 September 2017

Stage 3: Judging process

Finalists will be invited to prepare a video pitch (format and length to be confirmed) and the videos will be showcased at the awards ceremony. Each finalist will be invited on stage for a live Q&A conducted by a panel of judges. The awards ceremony will take place in London on Thursday 12 October.
