The protection of personal data is an important concern to ICAEW. Any personal data collected will be treated in accordance with current data protection legislation.
ICAEW will be collaborating with both Deloitte and A4S in order to facilitate Finance For the Future and therefore personal data such as; entry forms, case studies and images, may be shared between the parties. You will only be contacted in order for the parties to facilitate F4TF.
We will be recording the assessments, and judging sessions, and therefore processing your personal data (video recording). Our purpose for doing so is to: allow a financial journalist to view them to support the writing of case studies in March – September 2026 and to allow the assessors to review them if required to help with the decision of who to put forward as a finalist.
Additionally, if you progress to the finalist stage, we will be using a third-party production supplier, who will be recording and livestreaming the finalist stage.
We will not share the video recordings with any other members within ICAEW without your consent or with third parties other than those stated above.
Our lawful basis for the above is legitimate interest. Should you so wish, you have the right to opt out of being recorded by contacting F4TF@a4s.org.
Should you be a finalist we will keep your assessment and judging recordings for up to 24 months, this is in case we need to refer to your comments when writing up the case study of your entry.
